چکیده

Green nanotechnology is the evolution of cost-effective and environmentally friendly processes for production metal-based nanoparticles due to medicinal importance economic value. The aim present study was biosynthesize characterize silver (AgNPs) using seed extract Ajwa dates (Aw). anti-bacteriostatic activity biosynthesized Aw–AgNPs against Gram-positive Gram-negative bacterial strains evaluated. anti-biofilm examined by tissue culture plate method. Lastly, anti-cancer potential investigated human breast cancer cell line HCC712. UV–visible absorption spectra exhibited plasmon resonance peak at 430 nm, with solution undergoing rapid color changes that verified existence in solution. TEM SEM images illustrated were spherical between 15 80 nm diameter. reduction stabilization functional groups biomolecules seeds, as identified FTIR. significant anti-bacterial all tested strains. Moreover, efficiently hampered biofilm formation cytotoxicity various concentrations. Overall, these findings suggest may be used a therapeutic formulation infections cancer.

Anti-cancer effects of Ajwa dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.) in diethylnitrosamine induced hepatocellular carcinoma in Wistar rats

BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) accounts for major cancer-related deaths despite current advanced therapies. Treatment and prognosis of HCC is better in patients with preserved liver function. Many natural products including ajwa dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.), are claimed to have hepatoprotective and HCC inhibitory effects, but most lack scientific validation. To prove our hypothesis...

Green synthesis of silk sericin-capped silver nanoparticles and their potent anti-bacterial activity

In this study, a 'green chemistry' approach was introduced to synthesize silk sericin (SS)-capped silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) under an alkaline condition (pH 11) using SS as a reducing and stabilizing agent instead of toxic chemicals. The SS-capped AgNPs were successfully synthesized at various concentrations of SS and AgNO3, but the yields were different. A higher yield of SS-capped AgNPs was...

Anti-bacterial Studies of Silver Nanoparticles

We discuss about the antibacterial activities of Silver nanoparticles and compare them on both Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria in this investigation. The activities of Silver nanoparticles synthesized by electrolysis method are more in Gram (-) than Gram (+) bacteria. First time, we increase its antibacterial activities by using electrical power while on electrolysis synthesis and it i...

Evaluation of Anti biofilm and Antibiotic Potentiation Activities of Silver Nanoparticles Against some Nosocomial Pathogens

Nowadays silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are used as antimicrobial due to its well known physical, chemical, and biological properties. A large collection of bacterial cells adhering to a surface is called bacterial biofilm. Exposure to silver nano particles (AgNPs) may prevent colonization of new bacteria onto the biofilm. In the present work, we have investigated whether the biofilm format...
